The wait is over and we're ready for this summer's Instameet.
It has taken a lot of planning and work with the community in the last few months. Our idea was to create an event that helps bring people together for a shared passion for photography and to strengthen the underlying community of Instagrammers in the Queen City.
The Instameet is set for Thursday, August 27th at 5:45 PM.
Tourism Saskatchewan has provided #ExploreSask t-shirts for the first 20 Instagrammers who register, which you see here. Make sure to arrive in time to register to be eligible for prizes and to hopefully get a t-shirt.
Registration will be held at Wascana Place, right in Wascana Park. The photo-walk portion will start at 6:30 and run from Wascana Park through to the downtown area, where it will end at Famoso Pizzeria, who has been gracious enough to officially host us.
We also have prizes from some of our other sponsors; iQmetrix, Tourism Regina, Tourism Saskatchewan, Western Litho Printers, Regina Downtown, and Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria.
We're all very excited and hope to see lots of people join us for a great evening in these last days of summer.
